About Orisha/Santeria/Lucumi/Yoruba Meetup Group of New York
The Orisha Group of NYC focuses on the interests of people interested in Orisha/Santeria/Lucumi/Yoruba/Congo/ Ancestral traditions and Spiritual Traditions of the Americas and West Africa. The group is open to non-initiates and initiates. We will focus on the educational, worship, informational and community aspects of these practices.
There is one GOD who is the creator and the ultimate light of the world.
Never take anything for granted. Always question anything in life, sometimes there is no human answer. Never let anyone come between you and your God. Always value the wisdom of your own Ori ("head") above all teachings. Always trust yourself, unconditionally.
